you explore and understand the emotional elements that build a
realistic and sustainable financial plan. Topics covered include the
psychology of money, risk management, cash flow, savings, investing,
retirement planning and home ownership. If you're in a relationship,
both partners are strongly encouraged to attend. Cost: $85, or reduced
rate for couples.
Financial Health 101
In
this class we’ll review sound financial practices by examining all the
essential building blocks: risk management (including medical
insurance), budgeting, short-term savings and investing for the
long-term (portfolio management, retirement planning and saving for
children’s college education). We’ll also look at the emotional
dynamics underlying our approach to money and strategies to prevent
fear or greed from ruining our financial health.
